Heavy metal poisoning

Even at a very low level, the ions of heavy metals can cause serious health effects, including reduced growth and development, cancer, organ damage, nerve damage, and in extreme cases, death. The most common toxins heavy metals are aluminum, arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury. Once issued, sources have the ability to accumulate in the environment for many years.
