Buffalo tours of pottery City, Vietnam

Among the tourist sites surrounding Hanoi, Bat Trang pottery village of 500 year history, is a great place to visit, attracting a large number of people in the city – and foreign tourists. Slowly but surely: Japanese visitors enjoy a tour buffalo cart in the village of pottery.

Only 14 km from downtown Hanoi, the village is easily accessible by bike – the most popular transport Vietnam media.

If you're too lazy to drive yourself or do not play to sit in the back of a xe om or hired motorbike, you can take a bus to Long Bien bus station.

Items include celadon well of an ancient tradition and other great examples of pottery and crafts. The high quality porcelain is decorated with dragons and phoenix, flowers and pictures of people and landscapes that reflect the daily activities and spiritual Vietnam.

Visitors can spend hours browsing among the small shops endless, each with different goods produced in a different family oven.

According to the head of market management board, Tran Quoc Viet, the market welcomes many visitors each weekend.

Group of middle-aged women are happy with heavy bags containing ceramics sedges who bought in the market.

"Although my family has every household products, sometimes I and other neighbors call each other and go to town. So is how we relax, "a woman said cheerfully.

For these women, beautiful ceramic objects, especially in the surprisingly affordable, are the attraction principal. "I bought a charming vase with lotus motifs just VND20, 000," said another woman.

Thuy Linh, a grade-10 student said it was sometimes Bat Trang with a group of his friends. "Unlike other people who usually buy ceramic household products, we collect jewelry cute stationary or ceramic "he said.

"I just bought a Japanese black and white Monokuro Boo pig, plus a key ring with initials Ceramic" L " the first letter of my name engraved on it. My friend bought a wind chime and a cute piggy bank, "he said.

There is more than a search among the stalls, tourists can also experience a ceramic work of artists – at the wheel, painting objects when dried or kiln load.

Visitors can also make their own cups, plates, plate, cup or animal – and will receive the final product, from a few days. Many villagers offer this service for VND10, 000 and 30,000, depending on the size of the product. "I was reliving my childhood, when the violin with a piece of clay," said Tuan Nam, a freshman.

Recently, a new way of seeing and relaxation Bat Trang has been offered. A Buffalo cart takes tourists through the town.

According to Nguyen Minh Hai, director of the Minh Hai Ceramic Company, which offers such a service, first in the village, each time you visit the village this way felt relaxed and interested as could see the scenery at your leisure.

"The idea of using a cart to carry tourists to Buffalo was started when I went to Japan in search of opportunities business for our products. I realized that the buffalo was easily recognized as a symbol of Vietnam – a rice farmer. So why not use farm animals to transport tourists around the village, "he said.

Before you start your shopping trip, tourists are shown the way for Ceramic manufactured in a workshop. Teams of young men and women work on production lines, baking, sanding and painting.

A trip around the village, a distance of approximately 2 km, takes an hour. The price ranges from VND50, 000-100000 depending on length of stay and the number of stops made. Two cars working buffalo in the village, offering views of around 100 visitors per day.

Like other towns in the north, the village will celebrate its fiesta Main lunar month. This year it falls in March. During the three-day festival, many traditional activities have been held in and around the village temple, situated near the steep banks of the majestic Hong (Red) River.

Among the various ritual activities held during the festival, the most important is a procession Boat village elders and monks from the center of the river to get water flows pure.

Before leaving, the boats made offerings to ask the Genie Water permit to take water.

Water was later excavated in the river by two prestigious elders, brought to shore and then went on the village before be brought to the temple community.
