What’s wrong with my laptop? I don’t get any sound anymore…?

I can’t figure out why. I have a HP notebook, Windows XP. No sound, all of a sudden.
No sound when watching a DVD, no beep, no boop…
It happens sometimes.Restart your computer.It should be okay then.If not,you would like to check your Audio drivers and repair them.
