Rat Pack How to get into the fan motor and the car air conditioner of my heating system?

Pack rats also known I think the wood rat nests built in Norway in my blower motor cars (Yuck) for heating and cooling ventilation system. Also have built nests in the air intake (air box) for the intake manifold. How to get the little buggers? I am currently using rat bait package. Other suggestions?

I worked on a ranch in Washington state for a while and let me you say, the rat pack can go anywhere! They can pass through small holes surprisingly, much more beautiful than can fit their heads through them can shimmy in. I wouldnt recommend starting the car, because who knows what theyve drawn there, and the heat may cause fire or damage a part of the engine. If the bait does not work you can try to smoke or rinse with water. Im not an engine expert but not sure water damage potential areas before trying it.
