whats the difference between sale and clearance?
a lot of stores have a sale section and a clearance section
anyone else confused?
Clearance can be for various reasons of clearing out that product, it might because of downsizing or closing of store, discontinued products, out of season products, etc.
The clearance(sale) section could be for out of season products and / or discontinued products (out of fashion)
For clearance is a type of sale.
The sale section could be mostly used for non-clearance items like overstock.
All clearances are sales, but not all sales are clearances.
