Neon Genesis Evangelion Ending?
hey guys i just finished watching Neon Genesis Evangelion
and i kinda dont understand the ending…why does asuka suddenly become shinji’s childhood friend..
why is Rei Ayanami is a Cheerful type of person..
and why does the ending is that..all the people is clapping for shinji….
please explain to me…im kinda confused..

What you’re describing (for your 1st 2 questions) is a fantasy that Shinji had. As for the clapping for Shinji….he became more understanding of himself and then became a happier person.
As for the ending, the more complete version of the ending is in the movie The End of Evangelion. It either supplements or replaces the original ending, depending on your point of view; it’s an art film and it will amaze you.
