Office Gym Exercise Kit Makes Cubicle Spaces More Useful

A portable office gym exercise kit that allows a user to do several exercise routines, including the back, leg and arm, was developed by US inventors. This is a breakthrough invention to help modern workers who are spending most of their time in a cubicle get that much-needed exercise.

A chair post and chair back support can be attached as the kit components to ensure the user can perform the exercises. The exercise kit contains a flexible body that is securely wrapped under the chair’s base and around the post. This way, the flexible body is firmly in placed on all sides of the chair post. The chair back support is also wrapped with a flexible band.

The American inventors also attached retainers in both the flexible band and the flexible body. In addition, the kit features several elastic straps. The user can then fasten the elastic straps to the flexible body at the same time latch the flexible band onto the retainers. To perform the exercises, the elastic wraps are extended by the user with the help of his or her legs and arms.

The exercise kit is comprised of a T-shaped flexible body made from flexible fabric; a flexible band; a first elastic exercise strap; a second elastic exercise strap; an ankle attachment; a plurality of attachable handles that are removably securable to the second elastic strap; and a latching method for the first elastic strap and the second elastic strap.

The inventors used a generally rectangular portion with a plurality of retainers securely attached as the top of the T-shaped flexible body. They also used a strip of flexible material that features at least one retainer to produce the flexible band. A fastening means that secures the flexible band around the chair back support is also included in the flexible band.

The first elastic band with two elastic handles, situated at either the end of the first elastic band and permanently affixed thereon, comprises the first elastic exercise strap. The first elastic exercise strap has a first pair of resistance that adjusts pieces to tighten or loosen the first elastic band’s tension. Inventors used a second elastic band and a second pair that adjusts pieces to tighten or loosen the second elastic band’s tension.

The ankle attachment is made up of a flexible material that is removably securable to the second elastic strap. A mating hook and loop fasteners for removably securing said ankle attachment on the person’s ankle are included in the ankle attachment. The plurality of attachable handles is removably securable to the second elastic strap. The first elastic strap and the second elastic strap are attached onto the plurality of retainers found on the flexible band and flexible body using the latching method.
