The Final Fantasy VII storyline has been bugging me-major.?
Can someone clear things up? I doubt it. I just want theories, because I don’t even think the developers know the whole story. I’ve seen the Nibelheim mission, where Sephiroth finds out the truth, 3 times. Each time was different.
The first time was in 7, with Cloud telling the story-and I know, he took over as Zack because of post-tramatic shock.
The second time was in a 45 minute anime, Final Fantasy VII: Last Order. (This is what made Zack my favorite character.) It showed it from the veiw of the Turks, telling the story of this mission how it really happened, or did it?
The third time was in Crisis Core, where Genesis told Sephiroth the truth, instead of him just reading the books.
My questions:
Why was Genesis never mentioned earlier?
How did Cloud know what had gone on if he was knocked out the ENITIRE time?
Tifa knew Zack, but never mentioned him when Cloud was telling the story. Why?
Genesis was never mentioned in FF7 because he had never been created. It wasn’t until Dirge of Cerberus that the character was developed and it wasn’t until Crisis Core they decided to change things around to include Genesis.
Cloud knew what had gone on because he was still alert on some level. This is how he believed he was Zack, as Zack was telling Cloud stories about his life which Cloud eventually believed to be his own.
If I remember correctly, Tifa never said anything because he was confused. She never wanted to tell him the truth because she didn’t even know he was there since he left his face covered. So he got confused because of Zack’s stories and his own experiences so Tifa said nothing and just played along.
