My mother hates my prom dress!?!?

I chose this simple black dress with a brooch in silver and black in the purple dress is the Most of the sets. He also had a black tie. He was cute, but I chose black for a reason .. black showed the face the better off, and I liked it as the cloth was. but my mother does not work like the black dress. do not like purple. I'm so angry, I cried, and kept complaining to get the black dress, did a survey here say it was better. people loved darkness of a survey of the best quality, and others preferred the purple poll. so I'm stuck. im slowly getting, and decide that my black dress was a good choice. and Something about the purple dress that I liked. But I'm still upset. Now I dress like any other dress my eighth grade Grad Grad but why Flip me when my mother said she does not like? and why am I so neeedy other approval of this pick-me? "Please help me
