can some one help me with a texture map?
well i can make models all day and night but when it come to adding textures and color im horrible if some one could help me and im looking for a free map of a tachikoma from ghost in the shell im not paying some thing crazy for a program that i wont make money off of it as you can tell this is for pesonal use i dont plan on selling this (manely bc i dont need to get sued XD) but any help would be nice im useing blender (sadly im very cheep) if you need any more information msg me
or if you could teach me an easy way to color and textures things with blender you would be my best frend 
Color is pretty easy – Select your object in object mode
Set your button bar to edit mode (F9) it looks like a box with four vertices.
If you haven’t set a material yet, look at the material selector right below the object name, to the left of the buttons. It probably says something like 0 Mat 0
Click the new button right below the 0 Mat 0 selector
You’ll now see a (gray) color box to the left of the material selector, which now reads 1 Mat 1 (meaning you’re using material 1 of the 1 material(s) available.
Click the color box to change the color
Your object will now be the selected color
If you want to add other colors to the same object, it’s not too difficult
Switch to select mode (tab key)
Move to face select mode (control tab, then faces)
A key to unselect all faces
Select whatever faces you want in the new color
Click the new button under the material selector (It should now say 2 Mat 2)
Click the color box to change this color
Assign this color to the selected faces with the ‘assign’ button under the material selector.
Keep creating new colors and assigning them as much as you want
This process is the best way to start with simple models. Once you get fluent at this technique, you can move on to U/V mapping (which is quite a bit more complex…)
