Solutions for the cats needed a computer keyboard?

I love my kittens. Every time I'm on the computer, they want part of what I do. This often means standing / sitting on the keyboard and stepped right into the keys. When I'm in the middle of something, which often means only accidentally revealed my office open all 20 applications. Perhaps they also opened up 125 browser windows with the support of a website, or write something ridiculous in a paper in college. So what is a good solution? I would like the cats do not hesitate to visit the office while I work, but I will not follow shortcuts to ruin what I do. A trot through some keys and all of a sudden I'm out of alt-f4'd all my work. Is there a way to disable all keyboard shortcuts? Is it possible that I can teach the keyboard is bad? (And believe me, I tried to go and say no!)

Well, what you give them some new toys to play with during the time you work on your computer. But be sure to spend time with them just before or after you finish. Make it a routine, and make these toys immediately after something to do "with them. Some catnip can be very distracting too.
