Recommendations for a floor mat for the baby?

I am looking for a durable, washable (water resistant / proof), reading / Padded floor mat for my little baby to play. I am looking for a size 4 'x 4', and I do not want to pay more than $ 50. Has anyone tried these pieces "together" the moss? Do you work in the carpet too? EDIT: actually I have one that can be rolled up and easily stored.
