Where can I rent a reasonably inexpensive Nana costume for a nonprofit production of Peter Pan?

Nana is the dog that takes care of the children.

I’ll assume you’ve already tried internet rental houses, and probably your local costume shops. Have you contacted theaters in your area and surrounding cities? Have you thought about possibly borrowing a newfoundland mascot from a school in your area (if there is one with a newfoundland mascot costume).

It should be easy enough to make, although the head may give problems. But paper mache over a wire or buckram structure should work, and a jumpsuit with either a lot of yarn tied to it or fake fur, or towels cut into strips.
