Where does the naruto anime branch off from the manga?
I know that the naruto manga and anime are basically the same until a certain point, where the anime branches off from the storyline of the manga and does its own thing, i wanted to know when that started so i can watch from then on. i know that it happens somewhere after naruto fights orochimaru.
pls help!
It branches off after Naruto fought Sasuke in the valley of end, in manga it simply shows he went on a 3 year training with Jiraiya and on with Shippuden. But in anime the filler episodes start and there’s about 90 episodes of them, until where other Knoha ninjas help gaara fight this guy, after that when Naruto is resting in the hospital and Jiraiya tells him that he will start training him. This is the anime ending. Remember there’s 220 episodes altogether in the old series including the fillers.
