would you settle for $50 if a post office lady wrote your house number in dark maker on your new mailbox?
she said that she was sorry but wrote it in black magic marker on a very nice mail box that we stained, bought, and installed ourself..if you would not settle for the $50 (which is less than the cost of the mail box itself)..what would you settle for…they wrote us a check for $50 and it said that if we cash it then we accept settlement, we have not cashed it….what would you do?
I would accept nothing less than the cost of the mailbox and possibly the cost of staining labor.
