WALMART cartoon ? Good Idea ? For Cal Arts ?

I am presenting my final production to Cal Arts of a cartoon dealing with my personal experience at Wal-Mart. Only difference is its more adult humor and they are animals rather then workers It deals with weight, political, and its a good dialogue. I am using Flash Professional 8 for the cartoon. I am wondering if this sounds like an original idea, since it is so hard to make a quality cartoon with out it being taken from someone else. Like the Cartoon wars on South Park, or the Simpsons Did it. Thanks people
