Waxing to weather models.?
I have no good air brush and the need to do a bit of detail in the 1:01 scale fiber glass / resin replica of the model. I rubbed shoe polish and I do not know how to do a wash, but made to bleed and I'm not sure it would be an alternative effective painting. The fact that you can rub is part of the appeal and the disadvantage of this thought. What do you think?
This is called "antiques" by some people and we do all the time in the size and texture or polymer clay items all the time to highlight the details and / or points to look more old, more time, etc (Polymer clay is a plastic, so I guess we're also working from the resin is also a plastic one.)
