Can anyone recommend some classical Japanese literature autobiographical interesting?
Looking in particular historical autobiographies, folklore and classic novels. I am interested in folklore, which explains the origin of things referred to in animations and movies (common folk knowledge a student from Japan). My history professor also suggested a book, but I do not remember her name not. He was a traveling monk who is supposed to be disguised as woman escape capture or something. What In any event it appears it would be very appreciated.Here is a list of books I've read that may help to drive the right direction as I am ready.
