Need a good base layer to use to paint a clear plastic model of a Candy Apple Red by Testors?
- – For model Plastic Manufacturers Kit – - Hi, My name is Alvin and I'm actually painting the body model for a friend because he is really not for me lol and said it better him.Anyways spray paint, I use Testors "Candy Apple Red Transparent (1605) as an enamel spray can.These a type of color will take place, I think if I do not use a base coat hear.I do not know what I should use and what special measures I am not sure properly.Can do well and someone can help me? Thanks for all your suggestions and help in advance.
I have never used this type of spray paint the box. I personally have never had good results with spray cans, which is why always use a brush of air. But if you want to use a box and the need for a first coat to adhere better, then try spraying neutral gray with very little to give a good idea to stick to the surface. also the colors of this type, it is preferable to light the light of several layers instead of one heavy coat that will probably work. I take what you can fog in the model, and then let it dry before applying another layer. Spraying and take several hours, but the result should be above.
