is there a difference between an obsession with Star Wars and Pokemon?
They both come from childhood hobbies whether it was watching the show or playing the game , too collecting toys “action figures” Or is it different because Old guys still watch star wars and pokemon is for young adults . Age Differences ?!?
This is all speculation, mind you.
Star Wars probably mostly appeals to people (mainly being men) between the ages of 18-35. I say this because of the genre and content of the movies. Of course people of both genders and all ages like Star Wars but this is the projected demographic.
Pokemon is a kodomo manga/anime, which means that its directed towards children, let’s say between the ages 5-10. As with Star Wars, people of both genders and all ages like Pokemon.
So based off that I would say that the only difference between obsessions with Pokemon or Star Wars would be the obsessions themselves. In other words the obsessiveness is on equal grounds.
