Why is the sound of my laptop out?
Hi, Can you help? I have no sound on my laptop. Me using the Altec Lansing Portable Audio System (used for the iPod) to my laptop speakers for almost a year. However, I moved my office from one room to another and when I was preparing everything again, I completely forgot to plug the Altec Lansing on my laptop before I turned the system (AL) en. The metal piece that goes in the headphones AL touched one of the USB and gave a loud noise and integrated laptop speakers stopped working. I do not know if the events are related, but the computer laptop speakers do not work, my Altec Lansing are not boring, and some additional set of separate speakers I connected to prove its not working. I think the problem probably lies in the laptop, but what could it be? If it was just speakers that are not working, there would be the Altec Lansing and another pair of speakers unbound yet?
