well i watch interesting anime and mangas that does NOT involve half naked girls with gigantic boobs doing something flashy. i started anime because it beats half the shows in the US (i got to admit Lost has got me hooked).
no i dont play dating sims, i hate cosplay or anime posters or collect figurines etc… but i do watch/read anime alot like 1 or 2 hours a day depending on how busy i am.
am i an Otaku?

I thought Otaku(s) are people who mostly stay at home to watch anime, collects anime figures, put anime girl posters on their wall, etc. Maybe, that’s just a bad interpretation though. Anyway, if you are just a person who enjoys the art of anime and act normal all about it (no obsession), then you are not an Otaku. You can still buy a bit of posters and figurines and not be obsessed about it.
