Kiwi jelly is set in the fridge but why is there a teaspoon of liquid? Can the jelly had melted when I cut it?
into pieces before serving? I’ve the same problem with pudding as well. Any solution? Is it that I put too much water when cooking the sugar with jelly powder?
if 10g jelly powder + 250g sugar, how much water should i use?
Actually the problem is with the kiwi. Kiwi and fresh pineapple both contain an enzyme that destroys the gel in jelly (americans would say jello). I know that one way to get around the pineapple problem is to use canned pineapple, but canned kiwi … if it exists, it would be worth trying next time.
