Why is my ps2 (slim) has trouble reading my PS1 games?

I tried to play Final Fantasy 8 on my ps2 slim and kinematics bast Initial where the game starts, you receive just before the wave of grains and Seifer and freezes. I traveled all scratch fixer and still freezes. and also has problems to play DVD movies. Avoid pieces will be on a new movie but that does not change with more scratched. Can anyone help? He has no problem with PS2 games or CD

If a scratch on a game / dvd is too deep, or a very bad place, an automatic cleaning attachment will not work. Try using your machine to fix 3 or 4 times, and clean the disc after each hour. I'm tempted to say that PS2 is your fault, but if you have any problems with DVDs and PS2 games as unlikely. If scratches fixing and cleaning the disc does not work, its probably a lost cause.
