Carnival Cruise packages cup of soda?

My husband and I just got back (November 14, 2008) from our very first cruise. We have purchased packages of soda and gave us travel mugs and told us we should have unlimited soda cups. My question is what other cruises, too? Travel around of the cup was a bit irritating.

Not all do. Holland America used to put a sticker its card room, but the last time I went and gave us the punch cards (It was not more restricted). Favorite label in the map room, it was very easy and you only have to flash the card to get a soda.
