what’s the difference between anime and manga?
There’s this Japanese movie called Uzumaki.
I love it.
There’s apparently a “comic book” or whatnot that the movie was based off of, and I want it. Badly.
I already know that I don’t like anime. I can’t say why, I just never got into the whole pokemon/dragon ball z / sailormoon stuff when I was younger.
I know anime and manga are similiar, so I’m willing to deal with it because I really want to read it.
But what is the actual difference?
The movie isn’t anime.
Ah, I feel stupid now.
I guess this proves how much I’m not involved/interested in either, since the answer is so simple.
manga=comic books
anime=animated shows
