What is the whole story behind Zatch and Zeno in Zatch Bell?
From Zatch Bell (or Gash Bell)
Zatch and Zeno are twin siblings of the king and queen of the Mamodo world, with Zeno being the elder. Due to not having been born with their father’s ultimate ability of Bao, he was forced through a traumatic upbringing spent training vigorously. This lead to his disdain for Zack, apparently because Zack had it easier.
In the manga, after Zeno is defeated he realizes the turmoil that Zatch has been through and returns to the Mamodo world without regrets. The anime has a different scenario, where he is bitter even in defeat.
